Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Resell Tracker ("we" or "us"). They cover backtester24.com, the Resell Tracker web app, the Windows app and any phone apps we release. By creating an account or using Resell Tracker, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Resell Tracker.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Resell Tracker. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they must agree to these terms and handle any payment.
• Use a real email address that you check. We use it for important account messages.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
• If you use Resell Tracker for a business, you're agreeing to these terms on behalf of that business.

Free trial

New accounts get Pro free for 7 days, with no card needed. When the trial ends, your account moves to the free plan automatically. You won't be charged unless you choose to subscribe. One free trial per person.

Plans and billing

• Free plan: free of charge. You can track up to 2 units (sample units don't count), and the app shows ads.
• Pro: $9.99 per month on the website, plus any sales tax that applies. In the iPhone app, Pro costs what the App Store shows you, in your currency. Pro includes scanning, QR labels, unlimited units and no ads.

Pro is billed in advance, once a month, starting on the day you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method is charged until you cancel. Payments on the website are handled by Stripe. In the iPhone app, payment is handled by Apple and charged to your Apple Account, and Apple's terms also apply.

If we ever change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you, so you can cancel first if you'd like. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the free plan until it's sorted out. Your data isn't deleted.

Cancelling

You can cancel Pro at any time. If you subscribed on the website, open Settings, Your plan, Cancel subscription on the website. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, use Settings, Your plan, Cancel subscription in the app, or your iPhone's Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions (at least 24 hours before it renews). You can also email inyourdowntime@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll cancel a website subscription for you.

When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, your account moves to the free plan. Nothing you've entered is deleted, but if you have more than 2 units you won't be able to add new ones until you subscribe again.

Refunds

Because every account starts with a free trial, payments are generally non-refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time. That said, we're reasonable people. If something went wrong, such as a charge you didn't expect, email us and we'll look at it. Refunds are at our discretion. Purchases made through Apple's App Store are handled under Apple's refund rules, and you request those refunds from Apple.

Your data

You own the information you put into Resell Tracker. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you, for example to sync it between your devices and back it up. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it, and how to get a copy or delete it.

We work hard to keep your data safe and backed up, but we still recommend keeping your own records of anything you need for taxes or other legal purposes.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Resell Tracker to:

• Break the law, including buying or selling stolen goods or items you don't have the right to sell.
• Upload anything harmful, such as viruses, or content you don't have the right to use.
• Try to get into other people's accounts or data, or into parts of our systems you're not meant to access.
• Overload, disrupt, copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or use bots to access it.
• Resell, rent or share access to your account as a service to others.

If an account breaks these rules, we may suspend or close it. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix things.

Figures are estimates, not advice

Resell Tracker helps you organize your numbers. Profits, cost per item, fees, taxes, goal progress and other figures are estimates based on what you enter and on information from other websites, such as marketplace listings, which may be wrong or out of date. Resell Tracker is not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. Check important numbers yourself, and talk to a qualified professional about taxes and business decisions.

Changes to the service

We're always improving Resell Tracker, so features may change, be added or be removed. We aim to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we ever shut Resell Tracker down, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to get a copy of your data.

Other companies' services

Resell Tracker works alongside services run by other companies, such as eBay and other marketplaces, auction sites, Stripe, Apple, Google and label printer makers. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we're not responsible for them. Resell Tracker is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay, StorageTreasures, Zebra Technologies or any other company mentioned. Their names are trademarks of their owners.

No warranty

Resell Tracker is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, including that the service will meet your needs, work without interruption, or be accurate, and we disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Resell Tracker and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or business interruption, that come from your use of (or inability to use) Resell Tracker, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim about Resell Tracker is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some states don't allow some of these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

Ending your account

You can stop using Resell Tracker at any time and delete your account in the app's Settings, or ask us to delete it (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or that have been inactive on the free plan for a long time. We'll email you before closing an inactive account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Resell Tracker after a change takes effect, you're agreeing to the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Resell Tracker is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
